What is a CoWork Space?
A coworking space offers individuals and small organizations access to desks, meeting space, internet, and basic office amenities — without the cost or commitment of a private office. Members can work independently, come and go as needed, and use the space in a way that fits their work style.
Located in the Welcome Centre on Main Street, Third Oak supports freelancers, remote workers, non-profits, and small businesses who want a quiet, reliable place to focus, meet, and get work done—close to home.
While opportunities for connection naturally happen here, the space is designed first and foremost to support productive, day-to-day work in our rural setting.
Strong roots.
Shared growth.
Local impact.

Get to Know Us
Third Oak is inspired by both our location and our purpose.
In part from the idea of a “third place” — the idea that we all need a welcoming space beyond home and work, where community and connection happen naturally.
Nestled among oak trees, what they symbolize: strength, stability, endurance, and wisdom — are qualities we hope to grow and share within this space. Like the Appalachian hardwood forest the oaks are part of — diverse, productive, resilient and interconnected — Third Oak stands for community and mutual support, where each part, each person, contributes to the health and strength of the whole.
